Brown Commercial Group brokers 29,000-SF lease for Illinois Lift Equipment

Brown Commercial Group represented both the tenant, Illinois Lift Equipment Inc., and the landlord, DOD Technologies, Inc., in the lease of 29,000 square feet at 675 Industrial Drive in Cary, Illinois. The national equipment dealer currently occupies more than 75,000 square feet at 640 Industrial Drive and was looking for additional space for overflow storage.

“Many industrial businesses are expanding, and finding high-quality small to mid-sized spaces can be difficult in today’s tight industrial market,” said Dan Brown, principal and president at Brown Commercial Group. “This location was ideal for the tenant, as it offers much-needed storage space in proximity to their existing operations.”

Brown represented the landlord in the transaction while Brown Commercial Group broker, Brian Lindgren, represented the tenant, who provides forklifts and scissor lifts, specializing in economical, late-model equipment. The building at 675 Industrial Drive was built in 1987 and has a total of 53,944 square feet.
