Candace Scurto hits top price, closes 4 industrial deals
July 20, 2023 — Broker Candace Scurto recently completed four Chicago industrial deals totaling 41,870 square feet, working with businesses and investors that were expanding, relocating and looking to maximize their investments. In one notable transaction she achieved a record price per square foot in Elk Grove Village, IL. Scurto represented the seller of a 6,700-square-foot building at 150 Crossen Ave. and secured a $703,500 sales price ($105 PSF)– the highest price per square foot price in Elk Grove Village for that size range. The seller was Easy Ice LLC, who was relocating its Elk Grove Village branch to another state. The buyer was Zip Dee, Inc.
Scurto also closed these industrial deals:
- A private investor in buying a 21,970-square-foot building at 461 Park Ave. in Lake Villa, IL. The buyers were attracted to this building because it will allow them to add more multi-tenant assets to their portfolio.
- The seller, a private investor, in selling a 10,120-square-foot building at 115 University Drive in Arlington Height, IL. The seller was downsizing its operations in Illinois and no longer needed the space. The property has a large land site with the potential for outside storage, which is in high demand and was a good fit for the buyer, a local landscaping company. Shaun Burke of Keller Williams North Shore West represented the buyer.
- The landlord in leasing a 3,080-square-foot space at 420 Bonnie Lane in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Brown Commercial Group Broker Pat Crowley represented the tenant, TN International LLC, a clothing distribution company that is relocating from a building in Bensenville, Illinois.
